Predictable Success® is two things:
1. Predictable Success® is a naturally occurring stage in the development of any and all organizations.
All organizations move through seven distinct phases in their development:
- Early Struggle;
- Fun;
- Whitewater;
- Predictable Success®;
- Treadmill;
- Bureaucracy;
- Death Rattle.
Predictable Success® is that stage when the organization is at it's peak - when it can set and consistently attain it's goals.
2. Predictable Success® is a methodology for accelerating an organization's growth to that point in it's development.
Many organizations do eventually make it to Predictable Success® in due course.
However, left to chance or management's best efforts, the destination is not guaranteed - many organizations fall by the wayside during one of the earlier stages (Early Struggle, Fun or Whitewater), or take a very long time to get to Predictable Success®, or get there, only quickly fall back into Whitewater.
Other organizations experience Predictable Success® briefly, only to fall forward, into the 'decline' phase of Treadmill, and ultimately, into Bureaucracy, and eventually, Death Rattle.
